Simon Willison comes through again with using a script to monitor the Ollama models page that generates an Atom feed, which you can put in your RSS reader to monitor when a new model is released. I’ve put it in my Reader to monitor for the local models.

Trends of 2023 from Benedict Evans: Generative AI
Benedict Evans yearly presentation is a good checkpoint to look at what trends were happening this year and what might be coming in the future. Of course AI is the biggest trend but the presentation poses questions that will be answered about where it is going and specifically questions how AI will be bundled or unbundled to in future products.
